Solar Streets

If you're wondering if solar works where you live, one of your neighbours might already have it - saving hundreds or thousands every year on bills. The neighbourhood effect has helped consumers learn more about and get solar all around the world, and we want to share that community enthusiam. This map shows solar installs on each street.

We have sent a request to all networks in New Zealand to show their support for community energy and you can send them a message, too.

N.B. The install locations are only available at the street level, not house level, due to the privacy levels enforced by network companies. Therefore, the dots on the map are placed at the midpoint of each given street. A circle of dots indicates multiple installs on that street.
