Electrify Queenstown is a three-day, nationally significant event that brings together community, business, government, and industry to accelerate the transition to a low-emissions, electrified future. It is run by Destination Queenstown.

The Queenstown Electrification Accelerator is hosting the How-To Hub (17th to 19th May),  a one-stop space for practical advice on taking the next step toward electrification. It includes five themed zones - Solar & Batteries, Electric Vehicles, Space & Water Heating, Cooking, and Finance - guided by the QEA team offering free, tactical guidance. Rather than a large trade show, the Hub features a small number of trusted exhibitors focused on real solutions - helping you find the right technology, advice, and partners to power your journey forward.

The QEA and wider Rewiring Aotearoa teams also have various speaking slots throughout the event:

Day 1: Sunday 17th May - Community & Systems Change

  • Turning Ambition into Action: Electrification in Queenstown - How everyone can play a part in lowering bills & emissions (QEA Co-Lead, Josh Ellison)

Day 2: Monday 18th May - Business Innovation, Investment & Policy
